City Herding Dogs
A community for urban dog owners who share life with Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Cattle Dogs, and other herding breeds. Real support from people who understand.
About This Community
I'm Thomas Bishop, and I started this community after years of homesteading with herding dogs in Vermont. When I visit my daughter in Boston, I see so many people struggling with the same challenge: how do you keep a dog bred for endless work happy in an apartment?
This site connects urban herding dog owners across cities. We share park recommendations, meetup schedules, and the hard-won wisdom of keeping these incredible dogs thriving in city life.
